CONTINENTAL -- Ohio Highway Patrol troopers continue to investigate a one-vehicle crash on Putnam County Road H which resulted in the death of a Continental man Saturday afternoon.
Agapito Alvarado, 60, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash in Greensburg Township by the Putnam County coroner.
According to the Lima post of the Ohio Highway Patrol, at 12:11 p.m. Alvarado was westbound on County Road H, west of Road 18, when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned.
Troopers reported that Alvarado was partially ejected from the vehicle when it overturned.
According to the post, Alvarado was not wearing a safety belt.
Kalida EMS assisted at the scene.
Services for Alvarado will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Continental.
