Grads named to Wall of Fame

ARCHBOLD -- Four County Career Center recently honored six graduates on Monday who had success in their careers and will serve as outstanding representatives for the school at the 11th annual Wall of Fame awards program.

Nominations for this honor were open to the public and based on the areas of significant contributions to the individual's career, the community, education and the career center.

New inductees were Robert Meyer, Cindy (Kessler) Overmier, Pegge (Michael) Sines, Lisa (Moser) Hall, Bradley Bowers and Dr. Larry Kennedy.

Bowers came from Liberty Center High School and enrolled in the diesel mechanics program, graduating in 1980. He is the owner of BCA Express Co. Limited. He lives in Perrysburg.

Hall came from Tinora High School and entered the horticulture program, graduating in 1984. She is the grounds maintenance and designer at Sauder Village and lives in Defiance.

Kennedy came from Napoleon High School and graduated in 1984 from the carpentry program. He is the associate pastor of the Church of God Ministries in Defiance where he lives.

Meyer came from Hicksville High School and graduated from the food service program in 1979. He is the dietary manager at the Community Memorial Hospital and lives in Hicksville.

Overmier came from Liberty Center High School and graduated in 1971 in the high skilled stenography program. She is the branch manager at the Henry County Bank and lives in Liberty Center.

Sines came from Montpelier High School and graduated in 1972 from the high skilled stenography program. She is the owner/operator of Dream Haven LLC and she lives in Edgerton.

A picture/plaque of each Wall of Fame recipient will be placed in the main entrance at Four County Career Center.
